Blackpink to attend Born Pink in Cinemas’ special screening
In case you missed out, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink’s concert movie, BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS, would be hitting the big screens from July 31 this year. A special screening of the film is set to take place in Seoul on August 9 with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa in attendance. The girl group will be hosting a pink carpet and stage greeting event at the special screening.
About Born Pink World Tour
Back in October 2022, Blackpink had kicked off the Born Pink World Tour. The world tour concluded on September 17, 2023, in Seoul, comprising 66 concerts in 22 countries. The quartet sang a bunch of their hit tracks during their second world tour, including, How You Like That, Pretty Savage, Whistle, Don’t Know What to Do and more.
On the work front
In December 2023, YG Entertainment revealed that all four members of Blackpink had decided not to renew their individual contracts with the label. While Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo launched solo labels, Rosé is currently being managed by YG Entertainment’s associate company THE BLACK LABEL.

All four members have been busy with solo activities since their departure from YG Entertainment. Jennie released two collab tracks and is currently working on her first solo album. So, is Rosé. Meanwhile, Lisa made a comeback to the music scene with ROCKSTAR on June 28 and delve is set to making her acting debut with The White Lotus 3. As for Jisoo, the idol-actress recently wrapped up filming for Influenza and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. Recently, YG announced that Blackpink would be making a group comeback and heading on a world tour in 2025.
